We looked at Scripture and church history to see that joy is not optional or shallow, it is part of God’s design, a source of strength, and evidence of right believing. From Jesus and the early church to believers across history, we saw that joy followed truth and sustained faith through responsibility and hardship. As we step into a new year, we renew our minds with God’s Word, release the weight of the past, and choose joy as a daily decision rooted in our salvation and our trust in God.
